Leader – Trisha Carl, trisha.brearton@hotmail.com
Trisha Carl is a 23 year old enthusiastic mom of a happy, beautiful 3 year old son, Camden who has mild to moderate cerebral palsy. She also has 2 step-daughters, 9 years old and 4 years old, and her 13-year-old sister whom she takes care of as well. She works at home doing medical transcription. Trisha took the position as leader of the Cincy/NKY chapter of RFTS in August of 2009 as she wants to do more for the community of CP and provide more opportunities for families to come together as one.  Her goal is to make sure no one in the Cincy/NKY area living with CP feels alone and to provide all of the resources available to any and all families that have the need.

The Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky RFTS chapter has been active in raising Cerebral Palsy awareness for over a year now. This chapter celebrated several CP Awareness Days in conjunction with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. We have partnered with local Kroger Grocery Stores to do lemonade stands, participated in Disability Employment Awareness Day in downtown Cincinnati, and is helping support the first ever CP Expo in Cincinnati this year! The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky chapter holds regular meetings, so if you’re a parent of a child with CP in the Cincinnati / Northern Kentucky area, please contact Trisha Carl to get involved.  We would love to have you!!
